I'm Aaron Wolf, a filmmaker, media producer, and visual storyteller with a background in Mass Media Arts from Illinois State University. With a Student Emmy Award for a promotional video featuring a local non-profit, I specialize in documentary filmmaking, branded content, freelance photo and video production.

My work focuses on crafting compelling narratives, whether capturing community-driven projects like The House on Garling or developing strategic brand content for corporate companies like Illinois Farm Bureau. With experience in both corporate and independent creative environments, I blend technical expertise with a strong storytelling approach to produce visually engaging and meaningful media.



Beyond production, I’m passionate about the evolving relationship between media, technology, philosophy, and communication. I have recently started getting into vinyl, books, and physical media as a way to escape our modern algorithm driven digital world. I also spend my time going to local "house shows", concerts, and spending time with friends, family, and my partner Char. Currently, I’m expanding my freelance practice while preparing to pursue a master’s degree in communications, focusing on the intersection between media, advancing technology, and our culture.
