Can I create a custom package?
Of course! These base packages are simply lists of the most common services I offer at different price points. If you do not see a need for a certain part of the service or you would like something more custom tailored to your businesses needs I am happy to create a package and price that works for both of us.
Where are you based and do you travel?
I'm based in the Bloomington/Normal IL metropolitan area, all BASE packages are priced for local clients. Yes, I do travel for a slightly increased rate based on location, transportation, and lodging. If substantial travel service is requested, any additional fees must be covered by client in full or reimbursed via retainer paid as initial contract is signed. I will work with you to determine fair pricing that benefits your business and allows me to produce my work to the fullest.
How long does it take to create a Documentary/testimonial style video?
Typically, I try to plan, film, and edit this type of video within the first three weeks of the month, leaving the last week before the end of the month for revisions and finishing touches. Hours wise, times vary from project to project but this style of video usually takes around 30-40 hours of labor, logged and itemized into preproduction, production, and post production in a final invoice at the end of the month.
What is your process of creating short form videos?
This also largely varies depending on client needs. For the most part, I typically use footage from the production process of the testimonial video for short form content. Not only does this save time and money on the production side, it also engages audiences from social media by giving them a quick look at a clip or outtake of the longer video, pulling them in to watch more and learn about the deeper meaning behind your brand. I use short form content as a way to bring in audiences to your brand, while the longer form video builds brand recognition and teaches them the true value of your services.

One last note, if you haven't picked it up already, my business model is not to create artificial need. In my mind, artificial need is an ethically questionable practice that negatively impacts your brands reputation. My goal is to communicate the value behind your business because EVERY BUSINESS provides customers some type of value (Maslow's hierarchy of needs). Applying Maslow's hierarchy to business allows you, your employees, and your consumers to understand and be motivated by the real importance of your company. My goal is to use communication to solve problems your business may be experiencing through this theory.
